Her specialties include advanced blonding (from platinum to lived-in), vivid colors, alternative hairstyles, big transformations, and razor cutting—think shags, pixies, bobs, and mullets. She also has a deep love and endless knowledge for working with curly hair, embracing its texture and individuality.

Heavily influenced by the punk and fashion icons of the ‘70s and ‘80s—like David Bowie, Madonna, Björk, and Vivienne Westwood—Lu sees hair as a powerful form of self-expression. Her personal style blends soft goth, edgy vintage, and a touch of “y’all-ternative” charm (never without fringe!).

Outside the salon, you’ll find her cuddling up with a rewatch of What We Do in the Shadows, rollerskating trails in Superior, or unwinding with a hot yoga class and long walks with her partner and their dogs.
